![]() ![]() ![]() I am not only not signed into the Epic launcher, I don't even have it running. For me, if Steam isn't running at all, it will LAUNCH the epic launcher when I try to run the game. That has been my assumption, btw.that the Epic version left some registry entries behind when I uninstalled it.which is super common for software to do. And that's just one example of what could be responsible, completely independent of the executable itself. There could be a windows registry section for the game, for example, and with the Epic version also installed that registry entry could be responsible for calling out to the Epic Launcher. Programs when installed are about more than just that executable. I don't think you understand how installations work if you think it "shouldn't effect it". exe and not the other one, i feel like it's just lazy coding making the game have to manually detect which version you're trying to run and sometimes failing to do so but to begin with i wasn't even signed in on the epic store.
